WOW. This is my 3rd review I ever wrote. But this office and group of employees deserve a REVIEW. From my 1st phone call to my consultation, I was impressed. I drive from Sayreville to Clinton for their services and would drive further if I had to. From walking into their office the 1st time to receiving treatment, they were consistently helpful and appeared to enjoy working there. The office is spotless and friendly. No long waiting and very clear instructions. Pre- and post-treatment, Dr. Tonnessen is a class A Doctor. His staff is very friendly and makes you feel like you have known them forever. LeeAnn is 200 miles per hour of energy and joy and a very important part of your visit. Sue is sweet, friendly, so professional, and fun to talk with. Amanda my receptionist class act friendly always smiling and just awesome. Dr. Tonnessen is very fortunate and he put a class act together. He is straight forward and positive minded as well as Friendly. I believe I will be having follow up appointments. And I don't dread going there 5 STAR +. Thank you all, Steve.

To say I was skeptical is to say the least, but three weeks after treatment I can say “PHENOMENAL”, phenomenal improvement in the appearance and pain in both of my legs. Additionally, everyone is so accommodating, professional and friendly with smiling eyes!

I am the proverbial hard-headed, tough-minded male that lived with painful varicose veins for years until a friend of ours suggested that I call The Vein Institute of Hunterdon after her excellent treatment. I did. And to say that Dr. Tonnessen and his team are a well-oiled machine is an understatement. Many of you reading this heard people say (for various medical reasons) "I don't know why I waited so long to get this or that done". And now, here I am saying the same thing! This staff is on top of their game, front-office, back-office, all involved with painless, zero discomfort procedures from start to finish. Kudos to Drs. Tonnessen and Solomon, Samantha Chmiel, Keylee, Vanessa, Jennifer, Linda, Sue and all the other smiling faces that I saw upon entering, passing in the hallway and upon exiting this facility. Leg never felt better!

What sets Dr. Tonnessen apart from most doctors is his bedside manner. I could feel his care and compassion. And he gave me useful takeaway information about my condition. I have never had a long wait at either office, but his time would be worth a wait. They have a great staff, too, especially Jenny, his nurse, who was also professional, as was Caroline, CMA, who promised me paperwork. They have a great billing staff and ultrasound technician, too.

I've had a large cluster of spider veins on the back of my thigh, ever since I was 25 years old. I am almost 60 and received many treatments over the years, and spent thousands of dollars, with very poor results. After just one treatment I have outstanding results. The veins are barely visible, and I can now wear shorts, and dresses with confidence. This is a beautiful office with the friendliest, and most professional staff that I have ever met. My visit was just a couple of weeks ago and I have already recommended the Vein Institute of Hunterdon to several people.
