Jennifer Malone

The years before The Vein Institute of Hunterdon gave Jennifer a clinical range that most nurses take far longer to develop. She worked the Medical/Surgical floor at Overlook Medical Center, where the caseload was broad, including wound care, IV insertions, nasogastric tubes, and colostomy management, and the pace rarely let up. She sat on the Evidence-Based Practice and Research committee, trained as a charge nurse at her manager’s request, and during her time on that floor, received a Daisy Award for extraordinary nurses. From there, she moved into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Morristown Medical Center, spending nearly a year caring for critically ill newborns and the families who needed just as much support.

Today, her work at The Vein Institute of Hunterdon spans cosmetic sclerotherapy, vascular procedure assistance, insurance workflow management, and staff training. She also led the practice through reaccreditation with the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission. When she is not at work, Jennifer is usually planning the next surf trip, finding her way to a beach, or spending time with her family.
